Kuchipudi Dance by Kalaimamani Madhavapeddi Murthy

Madhavapeddi Murthy ,is the son of Late Madhavapeddi Satyam ,noted Play-Back Singer. Murthy has learnt Kuchipudi under the Tutelage of Guru Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam, Founder-Director, Kuchipudi Art Academy, Chennai. He was also trained in classical music for a few years. He has portrayed major roles in different Dance-dramas presented by his Guru’s Academy.He has performed in Major Festivals like Haridas Sangeet Samaroh,Taj Mahotsav, Puri Beach Festival,Malabar Mahotsav,Hampi Utsav, Khajuraho Festival, etc and has performed for many Corporates, Sabhas, Cultural organizations and Conferences, etc. He has traveled world wide giving Performances, Demonstrations, Workshops in many countries like USA, Canada, France, Switzerland, South Africa, Australia, Newzealand ,Indonesia, Japan, etc.He performs classical dance shows with leading Danseuses Hemamalini and Meenakshi Seshadri . He is an empanelled artist in the ICCR ( Indian Council For Cultural Relations ) and is the recipient of KALAIMAMANI AWARD instituted by Tamilnadu Government and also so many other titles. Inspite of busy schedules of performance, he also runs a dance institution SIVA FOUNDATION in Chennai.
