Sabrina Katakam on Vipassana - Way for a blissful living
Teacher, par excellence, of Vipassana Meditation, as taught by S. N. Goenka. She first came in contact with Vipassana Meditation in Oct 1990 and has been giving seva in adult and children's courses since 1991. She became a Children's Course teacher in May 1993 and later became incharge of Children's Course in South India. She Started conducting 10-day Vipassana courses for adults from 2001. Now she conducts workshops for training teachers of children's course and Adult’s course . Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was taught in India more than 2500 years ago as a universal remedy for universal ills. This non-sectarian technique aims for the total eradication of mental impurities and the resultant highest happiness of full liberation. Vipassana is a way of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body.
